What is candle magic
Have you come across magic spell candles and wondered how to use them? Like crystals, spell candles are used to manifest what you want by setting your intentions and then letting the candle burn. They can be used to manifest healing, love, luck, wisdom and much more. This technique of manifesting what you want is known as candle magic or (magick). It is not only one of the simplest forms of spellcasting but also an ancient form, rich in history.
You can choose any type of candle to preform this ritual as long as it's new, hasn't been burnt yet and you've set your intention.
How to use magic candles for manifesting
Dressing and annointing your candle
Like with most rituals there are many ways of performing candle magic, some practitioners suggest dressing and annointing your candle with oils, herbs or crystals. By doing so you can program your candle with your own energy and set your intention into the wax. There are many ways to annoint your candle. Some practitioners start at the top of the candle and rub the oil down to the middle of the candle and then they move onto on the base of the candle and rub the oil towards the middle. There are some practitioners that rub the oil on the candle from the base to the top if your intent is to attract something, if you want to get rid of something then rub the oil on the candle from the top and work your way down to the base. Once you've done this light the candle. This is a similar process to programming crystals. Visualising your goal
Once you've set your intention, you'll need to decide on what your goal is and write it down on a piece of coloured paper that matches your candle. It's important that you are clear and concise about your goal. As you write down your goal, visualise yourself having achieved that goal. Fold the paper, concentrating on your intention whilst doing so. You could also say a small incantation. Some suggest placing the folded paper under your candle.

What do I do with the candle afterwards?
Some practitioners advise you not to blow out your candle as your are blowing away your intention. Instead, snuff your candle out with a candle snuffer, pinch it out or let the candle burn out. Once the candle has completely burnt out you can bury it.
